I’ve been with Medico Digital for over eight years, combining my passion for problem-solving and creativity to build accessible, user-friendly websites. I’ve been creating websites since I was nine years old, and I love bringing people’s ideas to life while tackling the challenges of web development along the way.
Accessibility is at the heart of our development process. By ensuring websites are compatible with assistive technologies like screen readers, we help break down barriers so patients with disabilities can access reliable healthcare information. It’s incredibly rewarding to know our work makes vital resources available to everyone.
One of my favourite projects was for the medical device manufacturer BD, where we developed an “amplification experience.” This unique feature allows users to create their own music tracks using samples generated from pathogens. It was a fascinating way to combine healthcare and creativity, and I’m excited about how projects like this can engage people in innovative ways.
I love the puzzle-solving aspect of web development—taking an engaging design and turning it into a pixel-perfect, fully functional web app. Every project brings a new challenge, and it’s rewarding to see a finished site that combines usability, aesthetics, and functionality.
When I’m not coding, I’m likely outdoors, spending time with my toddler or working on timber frame projects.
I have a few circus party tricks up my sleeve, like juggling and balancing objects on my nose.
